Messaging (SMS) Terms
crewduo sends two kinds of text messages. Find the section that describes the texts you receive.
1. crewduo notifications (for people who use crewduo)
Program: crewduo account and work notifications, sent by Doable Link Inc..
- What we send: sign-in and verification codes, security alerts, and work notifications, such as new or changed visits, assignments and messages from your team.
- How you join: by adding your mobile number to your crewduo profile and turning on text notifications, or when the Business you work for adds your number and you agree to receive work texts. Agreeing is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies with your work and settings.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. We will confirm, and send no more texts unless you reply START or turn text notifications back on. You can also turn off text notifications in your crewduo profile.
- For help: reply HELP, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
2. Texts from a business that uses crewduo (for clients)
Businesses use crewduo to text their own clients about service requests, appointment confirmations and reminders, technicians on the way, quotes, invoices and payment links, and replies to questions. Those messages are sent by the business, which is responsible for them. Each business publishes its own messaging terms and privacy policy on its crewduo booking site, at its-name.crewduo.com/sms-terms and /privacy.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop texts from that business. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of one business does not affect texts from others.
- Questions about an appointment or invoice go to the business that texted you.
- To report unwanted texts from a business using crewduo, email [email protected].
3. Privacy
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, or consent to receive text messages, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are shared only with the service providers and carriers that deliver the messages. See our Privacy Policy.
4. For Businesses
If your Business texts clients through crewduo, you must follow the messaging rules in our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. That includes collecting consent, identifying your Business and honouring opt-outs.
