Delete Your Account & Data
This page explains how to delete your account in the crewduo app by Doable Link Inc., and what happens to your data. There are three situations. Find the one that fits you.
1. Delete your own sign-in (technicians, office staff and other Users)
In the mobile app
- Open the crewduo app and sign in.
- Tap More in the bottom menu.
- Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, using the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request is from you, delete the account, and tell you when it is done, within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in is disabled immediately, and you are signed out on every device.
- Your registered devices and push notification tokens are removed.
- The app deletes your sign-in tokens and offline data from the phone.
- Your personal profile details (name, email address, phone number and profile photo) are deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless the Business you work for needs to keep them to identify who performed work. If so, it may keep your name on those records.
What is kept
Work records you created for the Business you work for, such as visits, check-in times and locations, photos, forms, signatures and notes, belong to that Business. They stay in its account for as long as the Business keeps them. To have your personal information removed from those records, contact the Business directly, or email us and we will pass on your request.
Deleting your sign-in does not cancel your Business's subscription or delete the Business's data.
2. Delete a whole Business account
Only the account owner can do this.
- Sign in to the web app at app.crewduo.com and cancel the subscription in billing settings. See the Refund Policy.
- Email [email protected] from the account owner's email address, with the subject "Close and delete our Business account". Tell us whether you want your data deleted after the standard 30 days or straight away.
- Deleted: all Customer Data (clients, jobs, visits, quotes, invoices, photos, forms, messages, call records) and all User accounts of the Business. This happens 30 days after the account closes, or sooner if the account owner asks. Database backup copies are overwritten within a further 7 days, and deleted files may remain in backups for up to 14 days.
- Kept: our own billing, tax and accounting records about the Business's subscription, for as long as the law requires (typically six to seven years). We may also keep records needed to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation, and aggregated data that cannot identify anyone.
- Before you delete: export anything you need. Stripe, QuickBooks and other connected services keep their own copies under their own terms.
3. You are a client of a business that uses crewduo
Your information is held by the business you deal with, not by an crewduo account of your own. To access or delete it, contact that business. To stop texts, reply STOP. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link. If you cannot reach the business, email [email protected] and we will help.
